Recently, Hebei Watson Packaging Co., Ltd., thanks to its stringent control over quality and compliance, successfully passed ISO9000 international quality system certification, Hebei Province timber packaging industry inspection and certification, Hebei Province Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau qualification certification, and IPPC international standard certification for timber packaging. This makes it one of the few wood products companies in North China to possess both domestic and international compliance qualifications, granting it complete export eligibility for timber packaging.

The acquisition of these four certifications signifies a comprehensive breakthrough for Watson Packaging's products in quality control, safety standards, and international compatibility. Among them, the ISO9000 international quality system certification covers 18 processes from raw material procurement to finished product delivery. For example, in the solid wood selection process, the company only selects high-quality pine and poplar wood with a tree age of more than 5 years, and each batch of wood must pass moisture content testing (controlled between 8% and 12%) and pest testing. The certification and qualification for heat treatment marking by the Hebei Provincial Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau require the company to carry out a strict heat treatment process on the wooden packaging for export - the core temperature of the wood must be maintained above 56℃ for a period of not less than 30 minutes to completely eliminate the growth of harmful organisms and meet the quarantine requirements of most countries in the world. The IPPC certification (compliant with ISPM 15 standards) is a "green pass" for the products to enter the international market. The packaging can be stamped with the IPPC stamp containing the "CN" country code and the "HT" (heat treatment) mark, and can be exported directly without additional quarantine. Previously, a chemical company in Hebei Province had its chemical raw materials exported to Europe detained at the Port of Rotterdam, Netherlands, due to the wooden packaging not meeting IPPC standards, resulting in nearly 100,000 yuan in demurrage fees and re-fumigation costs. After partnering with Watson Packaging, all of its exported packaging passed EU customs quarantine on the first attempt, increasing its annual export efficiency by 40%. Currently, Watson Packaging's export business has increased from 15% in 2020 to 35%, with products sold to more than 20 countries and regions in Europe and Southeast Asia.
